This command enables or disables the free camera mode.
The freefly
command in Valheim allows you to switch on or switch off the free camera mode in the game. This command doesn't affect gameplay directly but rather gives you another perspective of the game world.
Once the free camera mode is activated, your in-game character will stay put and the camera separates, allowing you to freely move around the map, irrespective of your character's position or movement.
This means you can pan the camera in any direction, go anywhere in the world, through walls, under the map, etc.
This can be particularly useful if you want to scout a specific area of the map or want to get a bird's eye view of your surroundings without needing to move your character.
However, remember, while in freefly mode, time in the game continues to move and your character can still be harmed by enemies.
You might consider using this command when planning base-building or when you want to take a screenshot of a specific scene or location from a distinct viewpoint that you can't achieve using the normal gameplay camera.
The freefly
command allows your camera view to move freely around the game, independent of your character's position.
This can be useful for exploring the game world, scouting your surroundings, or taking screenshots or videos without your character in the frame.
When disabled, your camera view will return to its normal position, typically following your character closely.
