resetcharacter Console Command

The resetcharacter command in Valheim completely wipes the data for your current character, resetting your progress and effectively starting you anew.

This command will delete all of your character's progression including skills, inventory, and appearance, essentially resetting everything.

Basically, it's like creating a new character but instead, you are reforming your existing one. It doesn't, however, affect the world data, so any buildings or terrain changes you've implemented will stay intact.

If you want to start over from scratch with your character because you’re unhappy with the way you’ve leveled your skills, the choices you've made, or just want a fresh start, you can use resetcharacter.

The resetcharacter command in Valheim essentially wipes out all progression related to the character.

It eliminates the skills, inventory, and any other player-specific data for the character you're currently playing as.

It's as if you're starting the game from scratch with the current character.
