A complete and up-to-date list of every Valheim environment ( weather) code, used with the env console command to force the world into any weather state.

Set one with env <name> — for example env Clear for blue skies or env ThunderStorm for a storm — then run resetenv to return to the natural cycle. Search the full list below.

Ash Rain is the constant precipitation environment in the Ashlands biome. Hot ash falls from the sky at 81% chance, with moderate wind, and combines with the biome's fire damage to make travel hazardous without fire resistance.
Bonemass is the boss-fight environment that activates during the Bonemass encounter in the Swamp. It applies thick green fog and persistent rain visuals around the Forsaken Altar.
Caves is the underground environment used inside Burial Chambers, Troll caves, and Frost caves. It is permanently dark with no weather and no time-of-day effects.
Clear is the default sunny daytime environment. It is the most common weather state in the Meadows (86%) and Black Forest (87%), with minimal wind and high visibility.
Crypt is the underground environment used inside Burial Chambers in the Black Forest. The interior is permanently dim with no weather and no time-of-day cycle.
Darklands Dark is the perpetually dim environment used inside the Mistlands' darker areas, such as Infested Mines. It applies low visibility and a sickly fog tint.
DeepForest is the Black Forest's default daytime environment. It applies the characteristic dim green tinted lighting and the dense fir-and-pine atmosphere of the biome.

Eikthyr is the boss-fight environment that activates during the Eikthyr encounter in the Meadows. It applies a thunderstorm with lightning and heavy wind around the Forsaken Altar.

GDKing is the boss-fight environment that activates during The Elder encounter in the Black Forest. It applies a darker forest atmosphere with low light around the Forsaken Altar.

GoblinKing is the boss-fight environment that activates during the Yagluth encounter in the Plains. It applies a heavy red dust sandstorm with poor visibility around the Forsaken Altar.
Heath clear is the Plains' default sunny environment. It applies bright golden lighting and persistent moderate wind (0.4-0.8 intensity).
Infected Mine is the underground environment used inside Mistlands Infested Mines. It applies an oppressive green-tinted atmosphere with limited visibility, matching the dungeon's Seeker infestation.
Light rain is a low-intensity rain weather state. It appears at 3% chance in the Meadows, 7% in the Ocean, and 14% in the Plains, with light wind and mild visibility reduction.
Mist is the dense fog environment that characterises the Mistlands. It heavily reduces visibility unless dispelled by a nearby Wisplight.
Mistlands clear is the Mistlands' default environment, where mist is still present but at base intensity. It is the most common Mistlands state at 88% chance, with very low wind (0.05-0.2).
Mistlands rain is a rain weather state specific to the Mistlands. It occurs at 6% chance, intensifies the natural mist, and adds rain effects with low wind.
Mistlands thunder is a thunderstorm weather state specific to the Mistlands. It occurs at 6% chance and adds lightning and high wind on top of the existing mist.

Misty DeepForest is a fog-heavy variant of the Black Forest environment. It appears at 4% chance and reduces visibility throughout the biome.
Moder is the boss-fight environment that activates during the Moder encounter in the Mountains. It applies a frost-storm with heavy snow and biting wind around the Forsaken Altar.
nofogts is an internal debug environment that disables fog. It is not a normal weather state and is used by the developer console for testing visibility.
Queen is the boss-fight environment that activates during The Queen encounter inside the Infested Citadel. It applies oppressive low-visibility fog to the boss arena.
Rain is the standard moderate-intensity rain weather state. It applies wet status to the player and reduces visibility, occurring at 3-7% chance in most biomes.

SnowStorm is the heavy snow weather state used in the Mountain biome's blizzard conditions. It occurs at 17% chance, applies the Cold status, and significantly reduces visibility.
SunkenCrypt is the underground environment used inside Sunken Crypts in the Swamp. It applies low visibility and the same persistent rain audio as the surface Swamp.
SwampRain is the Swamp's constant rain environment. It occurs at 100% chance in the Swamp and combines with the biome's darkness to apply the Wet status nearly always.
ThunderStorm is the high-intensity thunderstorm weather state with heavy rain, lightning, and very high wind. It occurs at 3-7% chance in most biomes and is dangerous on the Ocean.
Twilight Clear is a low-light twilight variant of the Clear environment. It is primarily used in the Deep North to simulate the long twilight near the world's edge.
Twilight Snowstorm is the heavy snow weather state used in the Deep North during twilight. It combines the SnowStorm visuals with twilight lighting.
