Jump Skill ID

The skill ID for Jump in Valheim, with raiseskill and resetskill commands to set your level from the console.

About

Every time you jump, you gain experience in the jump skill. Note that to gain skill progression, you must use the full stamina cost of the jump, hopping at zero stamina will not progress the skill (jumping with insufficient stamina will still show a small jump animation, but you will not gain xp). The height you jump from or land from does not matter, nor does the distance or what you jump over. Weapons, armor, and Run skill level do not affect jump height.

Overview

Jump is one of Valheim's character skills, tracked under the internal ID Jump. Determines jump height.

Experience is gained at 0.5 per jump. player must have enough stamina..

At max level (100) it grants +40% jump force (+100% jump height).

Adjust your level from the console with raiseskill Jump 10 to add 10 points, or resetskill Jump to wipe it back to 0.

Leveling & Death Penalty

Every Valheim skill ranges from level 0 to 100, and its bonus grows as the level climbs — the +40% jump force (+100% jump height) above is the full value you reach at level 100. Jump earns experience at 0.5 per jump. player must have enough stamina., so it climbs fastest when you use it deliberately.

Dying is the catch: each death drains roughly 5% of your level in every skill, Jump included, so a hard-won level erodes quickly on a dangerous run. To claw it back without the grind, run raiseskill Jump 10 — that adds ten levels at once, and you can pass any amount (or a negative number to lower it). Prefer a clean slate? resetskill Jump wipes the skill back to 0.
