Overview
Swamp key is a miscellaneous item in Valheim. Its in-game item ID is CryptKey, which you can drop into the console with spawn CryptKey to give yourself one — append a number like spawn CryptKey 50 to spawn a stack. Partly covered in caked mud, it smells foetid. The spawn command requires cheats — enable them with devcommands after opening the console.

The Swamp key is a unique drop from defeating The Elder, Valheim's second boss. It is used to unlock the iron-grated doors of Sunken Crypts in the Swamp, granting access to Iron scrap inside.
